The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the group access places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
